Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Lee Smith is nationally certified having completed the British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase IV instructor training course and has considerable experience in helping people with coronary heart disease and chronic lung conditions.

Over the past few years Lee has also been involved with Heartwatch, the Phase IV outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programme in Leeds, and played an important role in the introduction of exercise to pulmonary patients through the British Lung Foundation's six month pilot scheme.

Lee is currently undertaking the pioneering chronic respiratory disease instructor course which has recently been launched by the British Lung Foundation in association with Loughborough College / University and the Rotherham NHS Primary Care Trust.
